Ramdoun offers a full range of water treatment systems to purify sea water of industrial, commercial and agricultural scale. Our units are manufactured to eliminate a large amount of salts and other minerals from sea water using RO systems and our filtration equipment works by using a high pressure salt water pump through semi-porous membranes that prevent salts and other organic matter from flowing through them.
Membranes are only for the removal of dissolved solids while the water is converted to pure water and low concentrated salts. Salts and other organic matter are thrown into a saline stream and then pushed to the drain. In the end, water purification reaches less than 99% of dissolved salts. RO seawater systems are usable anywhere from yachts to municipalities. It is important to choose the right materials from the construction to deal with sea water (which is highly corrosive). Ramdoon uses materials such as duplex SS 2205, SS 2207 Omonel, and SS904 to ensure longer service life and less maintenance.

Application of SWI Series Desalination Plants in Saudi Arabia
Reverse osmosis seawater (SWRO) and seawater desalination methods are the process of desalination of seawater using the reverse osmosis theory of seawater desalination which has been used commercially since the early seventies. SWI Series Reverse Osmosis Systems are designed to pass water through one phase and not several stages. For these systems to work properly, these systems should include the following components:
Water source: Beach wells or on open beach.
Pre-treatment: with pretreatment systems and chemical injection pumps
High pressure pump: achieve the desired pressure
Membrane and Vessel Group: Desalination
PH adjustment: adjust the pH level
Sterilization: Prevent any bacterial or organic growth
