1- Installation:

RGT® oil and grease traps are easy to install

It is equipped with holes for connection on the entry and exit lines starting with 11/2 inch and side holes equipped for installing valves to discharge oils, grease and washing.

Installation stages:

1- Before starting the installation, we must pay attention to the necessity of placing the trap completely flat, and this is done by controlling the four ground rules of the trap, which are rotatable so that the horizontal leveling of the trap is calibrated.

2- The entry and exit line shall be connected by means of a plastic serrated (bushing) adapter, according to the existing size, taking into consideration that the exit line does not rise above the level of the exit hole.

3- Oil and grease lockers are installed and preferably directed downwards.

4- The stopcock is completely horizontal installed.

A- It must be taken into account that the - in & out lines, oil & grease lines - do not rise above the level of their openings in the trap.

B- It is preferable to install a plastic coupler (tightening a joint) before and immediately after the trap.

2- Operation:

1- After completing the installation of the trap, it is necessary to ensure that the used adhesive is dry in installing plastic pipes before operating.

2- Close the oil and washing discharge valves.

3- The trap is filled with water (without oil or grease)

Until the water comes out of the drain hole.

4- The product is ready for operation ...

3- Maintenance:

The maintenance process is carried out periodically for the oil and grease trap and it takes into account the daily discharge

For the collection of solid objects and food residue basket, the periodic discharge of oils and greases

The overall unloading of the trap, washing, sterilization ...

1- Empty the solid objects basket:

Ensure that the incoming water source is closed.

- Open the trap cap and pull the basket.

Emptying, washing and returning the basket and reopening the incoming water source.

2- Unloading oils and greases:

Prepare a suitable container to empty the oils.

Ensure that the incoming water source is not closed.

Open the oil discharge valve and start filling the oils in the outer container until the water starts to exit.

- It is not possible to determine the specific period for emptying the oils, but rather it is related to the size of the trap and the amount of consumption.

- The oils are collected in special containers and may never be re-emptied into the sewage network.

3- Mass discharge and washing:

Before starting, you should empty the solid objects basket and empty the oils

Prepare a suitable container to discharge the sediments.

- Opening the washing valve and emptying the sediment into the container

(the third generation does not contain a washing valve and the emptying is done manually).

- The discharging into the bowl continues until the water starts coming out.

- The inner edges of the trap are scraped with the opening of the incoming water source.

Shut off oil and washing valves and start operating.
